If I said to you, "stop clogging your straw" you might think I was a little strange.

Let me explain............

If the universe were a straw and life was the liquid that was sent through that straw, the story might go something like this. Chocolate milk is being sent through the straw, and some of us like chocolate milk, we want more, and want it faster. We climb up into that straw and try to pull it down faster.

Some of us do not like chocolate milk so we climb up into the straw and try to push it back up.

In both cases we are creating a clog, and in both cases the chocolate milk is still going to come down the straw, just a little or a lot slower now that we have tried to control the flow. If we can just accept what is coming down the straw, we will get all of the chocolate milk, and then be able to try something different, like apple juice. Or, in the case of not liking chocolate milk, it will be changed to apple juice quicker without us clogging the straw. Life is going to happen, no matter what. Our perception of it is what will make it harder or easier to deal with.

The least inter(fear)ance on our part, by not trying to control the flow, will give us that experience, then we move on to try another, or get us past the ones we don't like quicker, and we move onto another. So now if I say "stop clogging your straw" you might NOT think I am so strange, maybe.

Thank you to the four wonderful people that were in my level 1 class today. What an amazing day of peaceful, loving, energy. Everyone experienced their attunement and subsequent (give & receive) Reiki sessions at a very deep, connected level. I feel blessed to have shared Reiki with you today.

Radio Interview August 24th 2008

Joe and I were interviewed on 95.9FM last night about our Louise Hay: Heal Your Life workshops. What a fun time that was!! We were given a CD of the show and I am trying to figure out how to upload it to the blog and website. There has to be a way! Sign up for feeds so you will get an email when I figure it out. My First Blog Post

Hello and welcome to my first blog. I'm sure as I go along it will make more sense to me and become easier. I've been a member of different online groups and forums for years and have tried them as a way to reach people recently but keep being drawn to Blogging............so here I am!!
Joe, my husband of 38 years may also post here from time to time. One of the things he and I do together is facilitate workshops. We are certified Louise Hay Heal Your Life Teachers. What a wonderful, life changing experience our two day workshops are. Louise Hay has been sharing her work for many years and is continuing to teach people to love and accept themselves through her certified teachers holding workshops around the world.
